Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! Parents/Guardians we need you. Please join with Kucera this year as we focus on academic improvement for every student and a health and fitness campaign, "Kucera Let's Move", which you will hear more about in August.
The first day of school is August 11, 2010. School starts at 8:35a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8:37am.
Spirit Day will be held August 5, 2010 in the MPR. The summer mailing will show scheduled times. Come on Spirit Day for the following: Turn in (2)emergency cards;Internet Use Policy; bus contract;parent compact;Purchase PE clothes if needed;pick up temporary ID; and finally pick up class schedule. Parents can join PTSA for $5.00. All students whose parents join PTSA will be invited to a 6th period dance in August.
Kucera Middle School is committed to providing a safe, productive learning environment that promotes high academic achievement, good citizenship, and healthy personal character development. Students are both supported and challenged daily as they learn grade level academic standards.
Students that have not been successful academcially and need more time for targeted learning should enroll in our After School Program that will be facilitated by THINK Together. All families were mailed a letter in June 2010.
